Get To Know Me.

Hi, I'm Jeremiah Levi Winslow (he/they), though I regularly go by my pen name 𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔢 𝔰𝔩𝔬𝔴 as well. Thank you for stopping by!

For the past decade, I've built a career reporting on the intersection of technology, identity, and videogames. My work has been featured in outlets like Bitch Media (RIP), Elite DailyFeminist Frequency (RIP), The Inquistr NewsThought Catalog, Paste Magazine, PolygonSlant Magazine, and many more.

After freelancing for a few years—most notably at Sacramento News & Review as an arts and culture reporter and GameSpot as a news writer—I joined Kotaku as a staff writer from 2021 to 2024. I then served as Complex's Internet Culture Editor from 2024 to 2025, leading a rebrand of the Pop Culture vertical to focus on the characters and the conflicts of the internet.

I'm now at an interesting crossroad in my journalism career: trying to combine my background in internet culture reporting with my growing obsession with political discourse.

In every newsroom, I bring charisma, humility, integrity, and collaboration. My ambition and determination never prevent me from pursuing a story, no matter how challenging or how long it may be. I hustle for the facts, I slow down for the accuracy, and I'm always looking to report on what's now and what's next. I can definitely bring this and more to your team.
